I'm Yih Yao, or you can call me Poulain if you like. Coming from the background of a Bachelor's Degree in 3D Animation.   I am a sentimental cinephile and nerdy CG Artist living a sedentary life in New York.

With a passion on cinematography and visual storytelling, I chose Lighting as my focused field after graduation. Shading, Lighting, and all those post-production processes are the best combinations of art and technology. Reconstruct the world's most physical essence with a set of algorithms and finally depict and express the most delicate emotion of humankind. Such a romantic thing!
